Carolyn has worked in product development for more years than she cares to remember, even before “Product Manager” become a mainstream job title, and has worked across many different industries, from charity to fintech, in large organisations and start ups.Carolyn enjoys delivering products in a data driven, agile environment, continually testing and optimising product features and the development process, to get the best possible user experience to the audience.
Helping others to realise their ambitions through coaching, mentoring and sharing her experiences brings her joy. Carolyn is currently an Executive Product Manager at the BBC, and in the nearly five years there, has led various product areas, including recommendation engines, notifications, online voting (Strictly Come Dancing and others), comments and moderation, and more recently the data platform.
