Speaker profile

Visionary Leader, Entrepreneur, and DEI Advocate

Meet Lauren Windebank – a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for women in tech. Her career has been a journey guided by a desire to make a lasting impact, to build something meaningful, and to use her influence as a force for positive change.

From Career to Entrepreneurship: The Birth of Roma Black

Her path to entrepreneurship began when she took the courageous step of leaving her 9-5 job to follow her passion. In launching Roma Black, her first business venture, she embarked on a mission to connect exceptional people on a global scale. Taking this step from employee to business owner also allowed her to have the flexibility in what you could call her most important role of all; being a loving mother to her two beautiful children.

Connecting Exceptional People Worldwide

She dedicates much of her time collaborating with her dynamic team at Roma Black. Together, they bring her vision to life, focusing on forging and nurturing relationships. Their mission is to connect diverse talent; business owners, leaders, and professionals from across the globe with remarkable opportunities. Whether it’s top professionals seeking a career change or founders looking to build or scale their teams.

Pioneering Change through TRIBE

In her commitment to leveling the gender playing field in male dominated industries, Lauren and her co-founder Megan created TRIBE, an exclusive membership dedicated to educating and empowering the next generation of female leaders in male-dominated industries. With a mission to create impact through influence, TRIBE fosters a community of strong, ambitious women who are united in driving positive changes and elevating the representation of women in tech and STEM fields.
