In the tech sector, half of the women leave. As an engineering tech lead and leader of Dojo’s Women in Tech community, I’ll reveal why.

By sharing mine and others firsthand encounters with discrimination, I hope to deepen everyone’s understanding of these challenges. Many women feel perpetually inadequate yet are cast in ‘superwoman’ moulds, striving for respect and progress.

These challenges, unfamiliar to many, are often misinterpreted in tech. My goal is to bridge this understanding gap and show you the way forward. Cultural evolution is slow but vital. Just as we prize software innovation, our industry’s ethos must adapt. This talk promotes a tech culture that truly welcomes all.’
