Alison Choy is a leader in data and technology with deep experience across data science and different engineering disciplines. From her PhD in applying data science techniques to drug design, to her exploration of different engineering disciplines in consultancy, fin tech and retail, her journey is one of curiosity, continuous exploration and a passion for learning and development. This drive for continuous improvement is also evident in her approach to team building and people leadership. Invested in building diversity in the technology sector and creating a growth mindset culture, Alison mentors and fosters diverse talent. In her role at Sainsbury’s as Head of Engineering, she leads engineering teams responsible for democratising customer data and insights, delivering ML powered personalisation, including Your Nectar Prices, to enable customer experiences that build rewarding lifetime relationships.
