SiSTEM is an initiative and network founded in August 2022 which exists to support women and girls throughout their (Science, technology, engineering and maths) STEM journey. The platform is used to showcase women in STEM and is designed to provide other women with the same sisterly support shared by its co-founders Dr Abigail and Donna Otchere . The ultimate aim of the initiative is to change the narrative of women in STEM and provide positive STEM role models for young girls particularly for black women and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.
