Cath is Director of Digital Risk and Security at Cadent Gas where she runs a team of Cyber and Physical Security professionals that enable the safe and secure delivery of Gas to over 11 million homes in the UK. Prior to working for Cadent she was CISO for Nominet UK, another company providing Critical Network Infrastructure to the UK in the field of IT communications and security. She also spent 15 years working for GCHQ in the area now known as the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). In 2015 she was awarded security champion for Women in IT and has featured in various publications such as the Financial Times. She is passionate about addressing the IT skills shortage and making Cyber Security an accessible and fun career path.
